Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using look-see.ie (the "Service"), operated by Look-See Limited ("Look-See", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Look-See provides location intelligence for the Irish property market. The Service aggregates publicly available data — including property sales records, school locations, transport stops, and deprivation indices — and presents it in relation to a searched Eircode.
All data provided through the Service is informational only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind (including property, financial, legal, or planning advice) and should not be relied upon as such. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information obtained through the Service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service by automated means
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any data obtained through the Service
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any part of the Service
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Irish or EU law
- Transmit malicious code, spam, or interfere with the operation of the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user found in breach of these conditions, without notice.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data presented is accurate, complete, or current. Property market data, school information, transport data, and other content may not reflect the current state of affairs and should be independently verified before any reliance is placed on it.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Look-See Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and presentation of data, is owned by Look-See Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Underlying data sets (such as the Property Price Register and CSO data) are sourced from public bodies and are subject to their own licensing terms.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
